Metal Machine Muzak (MMM) is a compendium of all the music I’m involved now, noise, dark ambient, weird and harsh sounds, broken structures… I’m just looking for a floating and hypnotic feel, using the hardest sounds that I can.
Pangea is the experimental music proyect of Juan Antonio Nieto, it begins 8 years ago with live performances of his music and making collaborations with several musicians.
In this year Pangea have released 2 albums:
Latimeria (Enough records)
Domina (Amp records)

Metal Machine Muzak
On first impression, each track presents a bleak landscape of dark shadows and wild inclines. On closer listening their finer details reveal something more welcoming, illuminated by the brightness of the small and subttle events contained within them.
